Southern Indiana Adult Guardianship Services exists to provide education and guardianship services and advocate for at-risk and incapacitated adults who have no other willing or suitable advocate.

The Team Behind Our Mission
Sarah Walker
Program Director
Sarah has served as Program Director of SIAGS since 2022, bringing more than a decade of experience in human services and advocacy, including eight years in adult guardianship. A Nationally Certified Guardian, she leads SIAGS in providing ethical, person-centered guardianship and building strong partnerships across Southern Indiana. Sarah is committed to protecting the rights, dignity, and well-being of vulnerable adults.
Tana Hutcherson
Case Manager
Tana brings a compassionate, person-centered approach to her role as Case Manager with SIAGS. She works closely with clients, care providers, families, and community partners to advocate for the individual needs, preferences, and best interests of those we serve. Tana is committed to protecting the rights, dignity, safety, and well-being of vulnerable adults while ensuring each person is treated with respect and compassion.

Established in Service
Founded in 2010 to fill a critical gap in adult advocacy, Southern Indiana Adult Guardianship Services has grown with a singular purpose: to protect the dignity and rights of our most vulnerable neighbors. Today, our dedicated outreach and guardianship programs cover seven Southern Indiana counties—Orange, Washington, Crawford, Lawrence, Dubois, Monroe, and Owen—ensuring that every adult has access to responsible, person-centered decision-making and a community of care.
