Providing community support since 2010

Southern Indiana Adult Guardianship Services (SIAGS) provides essential guardianship resources and volunteer oversight to empower individuals in need, following the standards set by the National Guardianship Association (NGA).

Through our VASIA program (Volunteer Advocates for Seniors and Incapacitated Adults), we support and advocate for adults in Crawford, Dubois, Lawrence, Monroe, Orange, Owen, and Washington Counties of Indiana, fostering engagement, dignity, and well-being across our communities.

Our Services

SIAGS provides compassionate advocacy and support for adults with intellectual disabilities, dementia, cognitive impairments, and other conditions that render them legally incapacitated. Since 2010, we have been dedicated to protecting their rights, promoting independence, and strengthening their connection to the community. We also educate the public on guardianship and least restrictive alternatives, train our volunteers, and provide valuable resources to support both clients and caregivers.
